This is the actual size of Empress Sisi's waist in the 1800's. Picture taken from a statue at the Sisi museum in Hofburg Palace (where when I go, I will touch everything that says 'do not touch'. "American no speak germano". /shot) media-cdn.tripadvisor.com/media/photo-s/01/40/2a/d6/sisi-museum.jpgThis was how Vienna looked for most of her life. XD Now you can see how possible it is for a lady who looks like that could miscarry, and she certainly can't breathe. XD

Did they wear corsets during the pregnancy, too? Yeash, that makes me cringe so much. She looked like a Barbie. D:>

Not until it starts showing. Which is even more dangerous, I think.
I think it's pretty, actually. With the clothes of that time, of course. XD

Hnnng, I couldn't wear one of those if my life depended on it. < ~ >
I do love the dresses, and that's coming from a casual, guy shirts, and ratty-ol'-jean-and-sweatpants kind of girl! XD

Any time I think of Vienna and pregnancy now, all I can think of is "LOTS AND LOST OF BABIES!!" and Itak crying forever. XD
BUT YEAH I can see how this would not work out with pregnancy. :I

lol, this reminds me of when I used to wear a hard brace 24/7. It is basically a plastic corset (that unfortunately doesn't make you look thinner while you're wearing it). I apparently was losing dangerous amounts of weight, because it was so hard to eat, so my doctor told me to stop using it. Let me just say, I cannot imagine willingly wearing an actual corset; it is so not worth it. XD I just lied around most of the time, doing nothing, because it is so uncomfortable, herp derp.

But lying around doing nothing is what women are supposed to do-- /shot
Ugh, I couldn't imagine wearing a backbrace. Maybe I should have; if I stand for five minutes my lower back hurts like a mofo. XD all my doctor said was "you have a little bit of scoleosis". :I that, and anemia, and endometriosis... It wouldn't hurt to knock my ovaries around with a corset to give em a taste of their own medicine.
And anemia is the way to go if you want those extra lbs to fall right off-- I am horrible with advice. XD
I say, if it makes you feel better, do it. I think this is healthier than implants and lypo and all that. B)

No way, man, for weight loss, surgery is the best. Not even lypo or whatever; any kind of surgery will knock, like, ten pounds off in one go. After spinal, I was 90 lbs for a good while. I like to think Vienna would have approved. XD That was admittedly a bit too much, though. But even appendicitis brought me down to 95 or so. I think people are overlooking this miracle weight loss solution. :I XD
