This Christmas, I got a bag made by a Karenni woman named So Meh living in the US connected to a company that sells them and gives the women all the proceeds from Austin, Texas. You can't see the detail, or how it feels, or how well the stitching is done, or how happy i am just to own it-- but here's a picture. It's beautiful. There's so much more detail than can be seen on this crappy picture. If you're interested in one, go to www.hilltribers.org They are not expensive at all, and are such better quality than most bags at the same price.

I really was expecting it to be Houston XDD
i /cried/ when I got it, it's so prettyyyy
I couldn't find a site that could send money directly to camps in burma, and even if i did, it would be questionable who the money was really going to. At least with this I know it's going to them. XD
