In lieu of the University forum no longer being used (although it is still up and available for rping, if anyone is still interested), the idea came up that it might be fun to use this forum for a new school idea. Please keep in mind that this is meant to be a lighthearted rp--it is more like a mini-forum than anything serious.
THE PREMISE:
Students from all over the world have enrolled in the School of Nations; a special facility where personifications of ages 5-18 can be educated in amostly peaceful environment. It is free, and available for anyone of any social or economic strata to enroll in.
...That said, kids can be cruel, and those from lesser-known or less powerful countries tend to get picked on or otherwise ostracized. The fact that everyone is required to provide their own uniform (see applications template for more info) doesn't seem to help the social hierarchy system.
Oh well, it builds character. Right?
----
As most of our characters are adults, this is a chance to explore what they were like as kids!
How your character's non-AU age should translate over to their school-AU age:
(Non-AU Age/AU Age/USA Grade Level)
<20's/~5-13/Elementary-Junior High
20-late 20's/~12-16/Junior High-High School
>late 20's/~15-18/High School
>mid-30's/20+/Faculty Member
THIS DOES NOT HAVE TO BE FOLLOWED EXACTLY! As you can see, there is no rhyme or reason to it--it is just a general guideline to give you an idea of how the AU works.
----
And again, please remember that this is all meant to be a bit silly; don't worry about detailed translations of your character's history into the AU setting, or other such formalities. Just portray their personalities as they were in their younger years, but in a modern setting.
Please make claims below before filling out an application template! You are allowed to app 'canon' Hetalia countries (or your own version thereof), so long as you keep in mind that most of them would be faculty-age.
